Farmer Patrick has been named Diversification Innovator (Large) Silver Award Winner at the 2020 British Farming Awards!
Fortunate enough to be one of four finalists in the whole of Britain, after being nominated for the award, Patrick said that even being listed as a finalist was an honour.
He said: “I feel humbled, I really do, it’s a huge accolade to be recognised by the British Farming Awards, and I wouldn’t be where I am without my team.
“Diversification was necessary for Flower Farm to safeguard the future of the working farm, but without the working farm we wouldn’t have been able to do any of the diversification we have.

“We have a lot to thank our customers for, they’ve supported us in so many ways – whether it’s having a pint in the brewery, to buying from our online shop, attending an event or even replying to one of our our posts on social media – it all helps – and they’ve been so supportive throughout 2020, when this has been such a tough year for many – especially small businesses.
“I’m genuinely honoured, and flattered, and just so proud of all my team and all that they do – and the team at the Farmer’s Guardian, they’ve been a huge support to us over the last two years, they really do their bit to champion the work of farmers across the country.”
